MPD Edit is a powerful suite of tools and macros designed to simplify and speed up design in Tekla Structures. These user-friendly and intuitive utilities can reduce design time by up to 30%.

Utilities are integrated into the Tekla Structures ribbon, with a context menu AutoHotPie also available for quick access.
Main Commands:
- Fit: Extending or shortening model objects to a specified plane (part face) or line.
- The Same: Creating a new model object identical to the selected one.
- Align: Aligning model objects to a specified plane (part face).
- Projector: Copying or moving model objects to a specified plane.
- Extender: Shortening or splitting beams using other beams.
- Multi Split: Group splitting of model objects using a plane, line, or point.
- Fitting: Creating a fitting along a plane (part face) or line.
- Cut: Creating a cut along a plane (part face) or line.
- Cutout: Creating cutouts in a part using other parts. The cutout is created with specified offsets based on a polygon.
- Axis: Local axes of the model object.
- Swap: Reversing the coordinate system of the object (swapping the start and end points).
- Fit Plate: Extending or shortening a plate to a specified plane (part face) with additional geometry settings.
- Plate on Face: Creating a contour plate on the face of an object, with the possibility of smoothing the plate contour along a circle or ellipse, and setting offsets.
- Split Plate: Splitting a plate along a line or point.
- Combine Plate: Merging adjacent plates.
- Ring Plate: Creating or modifying plates along the contour of a beam, convenient for ring plates. Smoothing the plate contour along a circle or ellipse.
- Section: Creating a section of the plate or part contour when intersected by a plane. The section is created as a polyline.
